And we continue to push the envelope with our newest product: GrowTRAC™ Trainer.

In partnership with Russell Associates, a veteran of web-based training with over 25 years in the global market, VAL-CO has developed GrowTRAC™ Trainer as a web-based interactive training platform. It is capable of covering all aspects of your agribusiness, from new hire orientation with OSHA approved safety courses to animal husbandry, leadership courses, and the ability to create custom content specific to your business. GrowTRAC™ Trainer does it all. And at a fraction of the cost of traditional training methods.

GrowTRAC™ Trainer is:

Effective – The average retention rate for material learned from Computer-Based Interactive Training (CBIT) is up to 80% compared with a 10% retention rate for voice only instruction.

Traceable – Assign courses, track progress, and see reports documenting completion of courses and scores on tests for employees.

Non-Threatening – Most students find CBIT easy to use and enjoyable.

Cost-Effective – No travel time or instructors to pay for, and students learn at twice the rate of traditional training methods!

Computer-Based Interactive Training (CBIT)

  • CBIT is ideal for training because the student is not scheduled into a class. This
maximizes the ability to train any number of employees regardless of their location or their level of achievement in a training cycle. The training can be utilized anywhere, any time of the day or week.
  • CBIT does not require an instructor. CBIT is an interactive “one-on-one” tutor that draws the student into the learning process.
  • CBIT takes less time, which translates into employee development and work hour
savings. Excerpts from ‘Workforce Training News” and ‘Training and Development” articles show classroom timesaving in the range of 20% to 80%. Case studies have shown that CBIT can train a student on most subjects in 50% to 65% less time than traditional training methods.
  • CBIT is cost-effective. No instructor or student travel time or expenditures are incurred. Once the program is developed, it can be used repeatedly.
  • CBIT can track individual performance, indicate levels of proficiency and knowledge, record times, and document that the student completed the training and passed or failed.
  • CBIT is a non-threatening, easy-to-use training vehicle that most students enjoy.
  • CBIT is easily and quickly updated.
  • CBIT can be used to distribute new product information and policy changes, as well as
    for testing and evaluation.
  • CBIT never has a bad day; it always shows up for work.
  • CBIT is consistent and never forgets a teaching point.
  • CBIT will, without regard to time of day or date, produce uniformly well-trained
    individuals onsite.
  • CBIT can incorporate audio, graphics, animation, photographs, video, and text.
  • CBIT is always available as a resource or review material.
